Soothe Your Intestines
In many readings Edgar Cayce recommended adding a pinch of this herb to water to soothe the digestion and the walls of the intestines for improved well-being. Native to America, slippery elm has long been used to ease irritation of the throat, upper respiratory passages and muccous membranes. Ulmus fulva, powdered. Directions: Place 1/8 tsp. in a glass of cool water. Let stand for about 5 minutes, stir and drink without straining. Elm Bark may be added to all drinking water if desired.
