Ashwagandha (Withania somnifera) is one of the most highly respected adaptogenic tonifiers of the 5,000-year-old Ayurvedic herbal tradition of India. Adaptogens are a class of substances said to help the body adapt to physiological and psychological stresses and changes. In this regard, ashwagandha is often compared with Asian Panax Ginseng. Planetary Formulas formulator Michael Tierra, L.Ac., was instrumental in bringing this key botanical to the United States.

Directions: 100 drops (1/2 teaspoon) twice daily. May be mixed with water or juice.

Ingredients: 100 drops (1/2 tsp) supplies: Ashwagandha Root* Extract 2.5 ml.
*Organically grown and processed in accordance with the California Organic Foods Act of 1990.
