Long Description
Vitälzȳm™ – World Nutrition's original hybrid formula – is a unique proprietary blend of potent digestive and systemic enzymes. Serrapeptase, the primary systemic enzyme ingredient, is one of the strongest proteolytic enzymes known for its ability to control inflammation, regulate the immune system, remove excess plaque and fibrous tissues, and support the return of healthy blood flow and volume. Vitälzȳm™ also contains the additional fruit enzymes papain and bromelain, the digestive enzymes amylase and lipase, and the complementary phytonutrients rutin and amla extract.

Hybrid formulas are designed for those looking for both systemic and digestive benefits to provide total system support.* The Vitälzȳm™ powder-filled capsule begins to break down in the stomach providing digestive support, while the buffer enteric-coated serrapeptase survives the acidic environment of the stomach to be released in the small intestine. From there it is absorbed into the bloodstream and distributed throughout the body for systemic support.*

Directions: As a dietary supplement, take three (3) capsules daily at least 45 minutes before or after meals or as recommended by your healthcare professional.

Ingredients:
Bromelain
An enzyme found in pineapples that breaks down other proteins, such as collagen and has anti-inflammatory properties. Papain A proteolytic enzyme obtained from unripe papaya.*

Papain
A proteolytic enzyme obtained from the unripe papaya.*

Rutin
One of the many existing flavonoids. Flavonoids support health by strengthening capillaries and other connective tissue, and some function as anti-inflammatory, antihistaminic, and antiviral agents.*

Amylase
A group of proteins found in saliva and pancreatic juice and parts of plants. Amylase digests carbohydrates and helps convert starch to sugar.

Protease
An enzyme that catalyzes the splitting of proteins into smaller peptide fractions and amino acids by a process known as proteolysis.*

Lipase
Lipase digests fat. It is an enzyme secreted in the digestive tract that catalyzes the breakdown of fats into individual fatty acids that can be absorbed into the bloodstream.*

Amla
Amla is the richest source of Vitamin C. It also contains tannic acid, glucose, protein, cellulose and calcium. Amla is considered to have restorative and preventive properties.*

Serrapeptase
Also known as Serratia peptidase; a proteolytic enzyme isolated from the non-pathogenic enterobacteria Serratia E15. Studies show that Serrapeptase induces fibrinolytic, anti-inflammatory and anti-edemic (preventing swelling and fluid retention) activity in a number of tissues. Its anti-inflammatory effects are widely believed superior to other proteolytic enzymes. Another primary benefit of Serrapeptase is the reduction of pain; particularly in the enzyme’s ability to block the release of pain-inducing amines from inflamed tissues. Physicians in Europe and Asia use Serrapeptase in treatment as an alternative to aspirin, ibuprofen, and other NSAIDs.*

Other Ingredients: Medium-chain Triglycerides, Starch, Glycerin, Polysaccharide, Corn protein, Beeswax, Glycerin Fatty Acid Ester, Soy Lecithin, Citric Acid.
