| Whole psyllium husk, primarily cultivated in India, is a popular source of soluble fiber that has been used for many years in traditional medicine to help support regularity by providing bulk and water content to stool. Swelling to many times its size by soaking up water, psyllium husks act like a sponge, moving through the intestines and colon absorbing metabolic waste products binding with fats, such as cholesterol and toxins and helping to provide the soft bulk needed to support normal, daily elimination. Solaray® Whole Psyllium Husks are all natural, contain no added sweeteners or colors and are a great way to supplement daily fiber intake, especially for those individuals who fall short when comes to getting adequate fiber from their diets.
