Applications:Required for good circulation and proper cholesterol levels, vanadium deficiencies have been linked to kidney and heart disease. Vanadium is difficult to absorb. It is used for goiter, high cholesterol and heart disease.
Sources:Fish, olives, dillweed, radishes, vegetable oils, whole grains, snap beans.
Recommendations:Vanadium is not easily absorbed and at this point is not considered a single dietary supplement. It is usually found as vanadyl sulfate in nutritional supplement formulas.
