Red Clover (Trifolium pratense)

Definition:A sweet herb, red clover is considered an excellent blood purifier with some antibiotic action. It is often suggested in any infectious conditions, especially skin eruptions.
Applications:Acne, bladder infections, blood cleanser, boils, bronchitis, cancer, leukemia, liver disorders, nervous conditions, psoriasis, skin ailments, and tumors.
Scientific Updates:Clinical studies have found that red clover contains antibiotic properties against several bacteria including those that cause tuberculosis.173 Scientists have discovered that red clover contains molybdenum, a trace element that is now recognized as essential in clearing the body of nitrogenous waste material.174 Many naturopathic physicians use the herb as an alterative including it in regular cleansing programs.
