Definition:Homepathy is a system of medicine developed in the 19th century based on the concept of like cures like. Essentially, substances are used to produce the same symptoms as the troubling disease. These substances, also called cell salts, are heavily diluted and introduced into an infected system. Homeopathic practitioners see symptoms as positive signs that the immune system is in action. More than 2,000 homeopathic remedies exist and are extracted from plant, mineral, animal or chemical sources.
Homeopathy:Allergies, anemia, headaches, arthritis, colitis, peptic ulcers, high blood pressure, obesity, hormonal imbalances, infections or any other chronic diseases.
Recommendations:Homeopathic remedies are available in tablets, granules, liquids or ointments. Look for established products with a good track record.
